The Wire Sound
A presentation designed to introduce an audience to the sound of the wire strung harp. Cynthia brings out three of her wire harps, and demonstrates a number of the different styles and arrangements that are currently in practice. A large part of this presentation is a question and answer period. Designed for groups of people interested in Scottish or Irish music, who may not realize the importance and beauty of the wire strung harp, or Clarsach, brings to this music.
This presentation is not a hands-on workshop, but can be combined with a hands-on experience for a group of harpers.
